Connecticut Digital Media & Motion Picture Audit

 

On July 1, 2006 the Connecticut General Assembly passed legislation establishing a 30% tax credit for digital media and motion picture productions.

Within weeks of the legislation, Sheptoff, Reuber & Company put together the first CT Digital Media & Motion Picture team and was engaged to perform the first audit of a qualified motion picture film to shoot in Connecticut. We worked very closely with the Connecticut Film Commission and advisors to draft the audit guidelines and forms that are still in use today to insure all credits issued by the film commission are properly accounted for.

We are the leader in Connecticut both in the number of productions we have worked on and the number of major Hollywood studios who have used our services.

In addition to Connecticut, we have also consulted on tax credits in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and have performed engagements in Maryland.
